We're going to be hiring native speaker staff, and they fit into the platform in two spots. The first spot has to do with proofreading sentences. When you add your own sentence, whether it's a tutor-sourced sentence or comes from elsewhere, there's no way for us to know whether your sentence is error-free. So one of our staff members must approve it for entry into the community database. That way, 100% of community sentences are high quality.
The second spot has to do with the Q&A feature within the app. Once we launch the community database and it's working well, we'll enable users to ask questions about any sentence. Other users can answer those questions, and our native speaker staff will see those answers and highlight the ones that are high quality. We'll set up an incentive system to encourage users to produce high quality content for Q&A stuff (highlighted answers will likely result in account credits for that user).
