Within the Words and Grammar sections in the app, you can search for additional words and sentences that you’d like to create flashcards for and learn.
Here’s how you can use these features:
Search for words
- Select Words under Self-Guided Learning.
- In the search box at the bottom, type the word you’d like to learn either in the target language or in English.
- Pick one of the available translations or add your own translation via the Create a custom flashcard button at the bottom of the translation list.
- Add images to your flashcard and add your new card(s) to your card deck!
Search for sentences
- Select Grammar under Self-Guided Learning.
- Select Search Sentences.
- In the search box, type the word you’d like to learn via a sentence either in the target language or in English.
- If there’s a sentence within the content available in the app, you will see the available options and can go ahead and create sentence cards.
Note: If there isn’t a sentence in the app that contains the word you’d like to learn, you can create a word-only flashcard instead and pick one of the available translations. Alternatively, you can add your own translation via the Create a custom flashcard option.
That’s it! By using these two features, you can search for the words you’d like to learn and add new flashcards to your heart’s content!
