  • I *think* you can do that (at least the password part) by clicking on the top right of the window (Mine says "Howdy, Gabriel Wyner") and going down to 'Edit My Profile'. Otherwise, you can log out and click the 'Forgot my password' link on the main forum page.

In terms of an icon, I think you need to go to http://gravatar.com, but how that works exactly is a mystery. My pic suddenly started showing up a week or two after setting an image at that site and then playing around on Tim Ferriss' blog.

  • Hello All ... Has there been any advance on this? I would like to make a couple of changes, but it's still highly unclear (to me at least) as to how to do this. I've logged in (having to find the FF-generated PW again), gone to my profile page, but can't make any progress from there. The "Profile" and "Edit" entries are active links, but produce nothing different; and mousing over the page (as per GW's suggestion above) does not seem to throw up any other links.

  • go to the site map (always at bottom right) by clicking on it; then search for "My account" and click on that. There is a link (clickable) on that page used to edit your password.

I followed Gabe's directions for the icon and since then have had a picture.

  • Thanks James. I'm now a new person, with a rememberable password, F-F Forum name, and photo taken a few minutes ago. Your assistance was invaluable, as it was not exactly intuitively obvious how to do this, especially tracking down the account via the Site Map! As for Gravatar – never heard of it before but, as you and Gabe say, it seems to do the trick automatically.

    Cheers, LB
