Minimal pairs for Arabic is difficult to find

Minimal pairs for Arabic is difficult to find I am finding it difficult to get minimal pair words in Arabic. But the option I have is to use the pronunciation of the vowel sounds of similar sounding consonants س vs ص, ت vs ط ظ vs د and compare them using the system gabe has used for comparing similar words. My question would this help in making me learn the difference between similar sounding consonants especially when using them in the context of words.

  • Hi,

I found this video. It's not a lot, but it's a start. I wonder if it might help.

  • Also, by simply searching on yahoo "Minimal Pairs Arabic" I was able to find some charts of minimal pairs under "Image search".
