Creating vocabulary cards

I am currently creating vocabulary cards on Anki for Spanish and I am running into a few problems: 1. The cards don't stay in the groupings laid out on the 625-word list. Since I know it's easier to learn the cards in groupings I am wondering if there is a way to fix this? 2. I am not getting enough new cards per day. I just went through all my cards for the day in 8 minutes. I want to spend 30min-1hr each day. How can I ensure that I see more cards per day? 3. All my cards for one word are sticking together. I created 3-cards for each word (Spelling, Image, Word) and they all seem to be shown one after another. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks!

    Hi Samantha,

    1. This is normal. Anki will attempt randomize the order you study cards in, which will make studying more difficult, causing your memories to be stronger.

    2. Please see our guide here about how to adjust your settings in Anki: http://help.fluent-forever.com/the-fluent-forever-word-lists/what-settings-should-i-use-for-my-anki-decks

    3. You can check the box "bury related cards," which appears in the first screenshot ont he page I linked you to above.
