Technical glitches in Pronunciation Trainer and Model Deck for Anki

I've found some technical glitches (in the European Portuguese Pronunciation Trainer) and in the Model Deck. It seems the problems are related to Anki updating their software to be more stringent about code syntax.

1. The first problem I'm having is the following error message on some cards. It appears to be related to the 'What's the stress here?' cards. The Anki help files just say to edit the card and delete the field. But is there a better solution? Updating the field to something else perhaps?

Back template has a problem:
Found '⁨{{Example Word (Bold/Underlined)}}⁩', but there is no field called '⁨Example Word (Bold/Underlined)⁩'

2. Another problem I'm having is that the field to spell a word is missing from 'What's the spelling?' cards. How do I fix that?

3. After installing the Model Deck of Anki cards from Fluent Forever and creating flashcards I've noticed a problem with "Comprehension Cards". They appear blank except for a text input field. Does anybody know how to fix this?

  • I've just bought the book, which suggested downloading the model deck. However, when I import it into Anki and type ! to delete the first few cards as suggested, after the second one I just get an error message saying "Back template has a problem:
Found '⁨{{#Optional: Any extra info (Back side of both cards)}}⁩', but there is no field called '⁨Optional: Any extra info (Back side of both cards)⁩'" so I'm rather stuck at the first hurdle!

If I ignore that and click on the deck and then click "Study", it just says "Congratulations! You have finished this deck for now". So I have no idea what it's *supposed* to be showing me.

I realise the book came out in 2014, so it may just be that the zip file on the website hasn't been updated, and no longer works with Anki?
