Great question!

Most of our trainers and word lists are available in two versions and it's very possible to confuse the two. One version is for English speakers who want to learn another language. The second version is for speakers of a non-English language who want to learn English.

English Speaker Wanting to Learn Another Language

If you want the first version (i.e. you speak English and want to learn another language), then you want to order the English->Language version.

For example, an “English -> French” trainer is designed for English speakers learning French.

Non-English Speaker Wanting to Learn English

If you are a non-native speaker and want to learn English, then you want to order the Language->English version.

For example, a “French -> English” trainer is designed for French speakers learning English.

Note: As of September 12th 2019, we no longer provide official support for our Anki based pronunciation trainers and word lists. You are more than welcome to still purchase and use them, but the support we are able to offer for these products is limited. For supported languages, these materials are already built into the Fluent Forever app.
