Should I focus solely on pronunciation and then move onto vocabulary?

Kind of yes and kind of no. The pronunciation trainer has a moment (usually after 2-3 weeks) where you stop learning new spelling rules and start hitting simple vocabulary/example words to help test your spelling rule knowledge a bit further. That's usually a good point to jump into making vocabulary cards. This is the point where we would recommend that you start implementing the creation of simple word flashcards so that you will be reviewing them simultaneously. This way you will achieve your goal faster, you will understand even more, and you will be more motivated to keep going instead of only being able to hear the language. This is where you will start seeing real improvement in your knowledge and ability
to understand and speak the language.

Note: As of September 12th 2019, we no longer provide official support for our Anki based pronunciation trainers and word lists. You are more than welcome to still purchase and use them, but the support we are able to offer for these products is limited. For supported languages, these materials are already built into the Fluent Forever app.
