So technically, you do not need an app subscription to use a pronunciation trainer, you could buy one of our trainers from the website and load it into Anki to use independent of the app itself.

You should be able to finish it within a month, so you'll only need to pay for a single month, which is actually cheaper than our existing trainer prices.
