For those who got acquainted with Fluent Forever when we were first getting started and for those new folks just joining us, you'll have heard the word "Anki" used quite frequently.
What is Anki you may be wondering?
Well, Anki is a free flashcard program that uses spaced repetition.
If you've made it this far and neither "Anki" nor "spaced-repetition" are ringing any bells, then you may want to stop here and go read Gabe's book.
Great! Now that you have a general idea of what Anki is, let's cut straight to the point, shall we?
Anki is NOT our product; that is - Fluent Forever's product.
Long before the creation of our official app, when Gabe developed the first pronunciation trainers for our webshop, Anki was the best program on the market for users who really wanted to take on the Fluent Forever method for language learning.
This brought many questions about Anki in general and specific questions about using Anki with Fluent Forever.
We've come a long way since those days, and though we will continue to keep our pronunciation trainers and word lists available via our webshop, we are putting all of our efforts into the development and progression of our official application (which, of course, uses spaced-repetition).
We are creating this page as a general "go-to" for users who prefer to continue with Anki and may need some additional resources.
The very first place we suggest checking out is the official Anki Manual available on the Anki website:
