In short: no, the image searching is an important part of the app that we can't just separate out. One of the biggest benefits of the app is a high quality, integrated image search. We want this app to save customers time and to make the flash card creation as easy and streamlined as possible. There simply isn't a way to justify the alternative of screenshotting or saving images and then uploading them yourself for every single one of the hundreds of flash cards you will be making and using.
As the app grows and thrives, the image search will become more and more refined with a cache of commonly used images. We will always, always allow people to fine tune and customize their cards, but we also want to make sure we're taking the heavy lifting off and offering a selection of useful images right from the get go as well.
